Haute Dolci

• Deansgate, Manchester

Located on Manchester’s iconic Deansgate, this project involved the refurbishment and fit-out of a luxury dessert restaurant within a prominent city-centre location.

Works included a full strip out, complete electrical and plumbing installations, flooring, wall panelling, bespoke seating, casework, decorative lighting, and the full fit-out of both front and back-of-house areas. A key feature of the project was the bespoke ceiling lighting installation, which was designed, manufactured, and assembled within NTG Solutions’ own joinery workshop before being installed on site, alongside the construction of a striking illuminated staircase feature.

The fit-out covered both the ground and first floors, including prep kitchen, storage, and service areas, with multiple trades operating simultaneously throughout the 7-week programme. Careful coordination and programme management were required to ensure all works were delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to a consistent standard throughout.

The completed refurbishment transformed the vacant unit into a modern multi-storey hospitality venue, combining bespoke feature installations with practical back-of-house functionality across all areas of the build.

Phenix Salon Suites

• Liverpool

Located within Liverpool’s historic Corn Exchange Building, the Phenix Salon Suites project involved the complete refurbishment and fit-out of a former office space into a premium multi-level salon complex. Spanning approximately 6,800 sq. ft, the scheme delivered 34 purpose-built salon suites designed for independent beauty and wellness professionals in a prime city centre location.

Delivered over a 20-week programme, the works involved significant structural adaptation, coordination of multiple trades, and the full strip-out and reconfiguration of the existing interior to suit the new commercial layout. The project included the installation of a complete HVAC system, full mechanical and electrical services, plumbing infrastructure, fire protection measures, and the installation of a disabled access lift to ensure full building compliance.

Large-scale drylining and partitioning works were carried out to form the individual salon units, alongside suspended ceilings, flooring installations, decorating works, and high-spec interior finishes throughout. Bespoke joinery packages were also supplied and installed, including fire-rated doors, custom cabinetry, shelving systems and display units tailored to the operational requirements of each suite.

Working within a live city centre environment and a historic building footprint required careful planning, logistics management, and close coordination between subcontractors to maintain programme and quality standards throughout the build. The completed development has transformed the existing office accommodation into a modern commercial salon facility, contributing to the ongoing regeneration and growth of Liverpool’s beauty and wellness sector.

Subway

• Beechdale Retail Park, Nottingham

NTG Solutions carried out a full refurbishment of a Subway store in Beechdale Retail Park, Nottingham. Subway is one of the world’s largest quick-service restaurant brands, best known for its freshly made sandwiches, wraps and salads, served in thousands of outlets across the globe.

The project was a complete refit to Subway’s Fresh Forward design concept, which focuses on a brighter, more modern and engaging customer environment. Works included the full replacement of counters and service areas, installation of new digital menu screens, and a full upgrade of wall finishes and décor to match the latest brand identity.

The refurbishment has delivered a clean, contemporary store that embodies Subway’s global brand standards while providing an improved customer experience.

Heavenly Desserts

• Stratford, London

Located in Endeavour Square, Stratford, this Heavenly Desserts restaurant involved the full refurbishment and fit-out of an empty commercial unit, transforming a shell space into a fully operational restaurant designed to support both dine-in and takeaway customers.

The fit-out included the complete construction of front and back-of-house areas, creating a spacious customer seating area to the front of the unit, with dedicated preparation, storage and kitchen facilities positioned to the rear. A key feature of the project was the manufacturer’s installation of a grand dessert counter and service bar, forming the focal point of the customer area and supporting the operational requirements of the business.

Works included the installation of a new raised access floor with underfloor services, providing flexibility for mechanical and electrical distribution throughout the unit. Particular consideration was required due to the building’s energy-efficient design, with all mechanical services carefully designed around the existing plate heat exchangers and Building Management System (BMS) infrastructure to ensure compatibility with the landlord’s base-build services.

The comprehensive fit-out also incorporated bespoke seating installations, durable floor tiling, feature wall panelling, decorative lighting, internal signage, decoration and furniture throughout, creating an attractive customer environment whilst maintaining an efficient back-of-house layout.

The Stratford location presented additional logistical challenges throughout the programme, with restricted site access, limited delivery opportunities and strict working constraints. As a result, materials, plant and equipment were delivered outside normal working hours, with significant elements of the works undertaken out of hours to maintain the programme and minimise disruption to neighbouring occupiers within the development.

The completed project transformed a vacant unit into a fully operational restaurant, combining strong visual appeal with the practical infrastructure and operational functionality required to support a busy hospitality environment.

Tim Hortons

• Derby

Located in Derby, this newly refurbished Tim Hortons restaurant forms part of the brand’s continued expansion across the UK. Delivered over a 15-week programme, the project involved the transformation of an existing restaurant unit into a contemporary quick-service dining destination.

This full design and build project involved the complete conversion of an existing standalone Pizza Hut unit into a modern Tim Hortons restaurant. The works included all associated civil engineering, structural, drainage and landscaping works required to create a new wrap-around drive-thru, transforming both the site layout and overall functionality.

Extensive structural alterations were undertaken to the existing building, including the installation of a new steel frame to conceal the former Pizza Hut signature curved roofline, which was then finished with Kingspan cladding panels to achieve Tim Hortons’ distinctive exterior appearance.

Internally, the space was fully reconfigured to accommodate a new commercial kitchen, cold room, and freezer to the rear, with the customer seating area positioned at the front of house. The comprehensive interior fit-out included feature wall panelling, new floor and wall finishes, replacement ceilings, decoration, a full HVAC installation, and the supply and installation of restaurant furniture and fixed seating, all delivered in line with Tim Hortons’ latest design standards.

Commercial Office Fit-out

• Milton Keynes

The commercial office fit-out in Milton Keynes transformed approximately 3,000 sq. ft of space above an existing retail unit into a modern and functional working environment. Delivered over a seven-week construction programme, the project involved both structural and interior fit-out works to create a workspace tailored to the client’s operational requirements.

The works included the installation of a new mezzanine floor to maximise the available floor area, alongside full mechanical and electrical packages, HVAC installation, suspended ceilings, flooring systems, glazed partitioning and decorating works throughout.

The project also included the procurement and installation of office furniture, with careful coordination of trades and site activities to maintain programme deadlines while operating above a live retail environment. The completed fit-out provides a high-quality office space designed to support the clients day-to-day operations.

Smoke & Pepper

• Milton Keynes

Located in the heart of Milton Keynes Shopping Centre, Smoke & Pepper is a vibrant new dining space situated in the city’s main shopping centre.

This project involved a full refurbishment of a corner unit previously occupied by Michael Kors, completed over the course of a 7-week fit-out.

The venue spans multiple storeys, with staff facilities and stock areas located on the upper floor, while a fully equipped commercial kitchen at the rear of the ground floor supports the contemporary urban-style dining space at the front.

Our team delivered the complete fit-out and refurbishment works, including bespoke joinery, feature lighting, extraction, and the installation of all finishes throughout the space. Working within a live shopping centre environment, the project required careful planning, coordination, and programme management to successfully deliver the client’s vision within the 7-week timeframe. We also worked closely with the shopping centre management team to ensure all permits, access requirements, and site procedures were managed efficiently and in line with centre policies.

Chaiiwala

• Knightsbridge, London

Located in Knightsbridge, London, this new Chaiiwala store was delivered as a full strip-out and fast-track fit-out programme, completed within just four weeks to meet the client’s Christmas opening deadline.

Delivered ahead of the busy festive trading period, the project required detailed programme management, close coordination of multiple trades, and careful logistical planning to achieve completion within a demanding timeframe. The Knightsbridge location presented significant access challenges, with surrounding red routes restricting loading and unloading activities, limited parking availability, and minimal space for material storage. To overcome these constraints, deliveries were carefully scheduled and coordinated, ensuring materials, plant and labour were available on site when required whilst maintaining progress and minimising disruption to the surrounding area.

Works included a full HVAC installation, ceiling works, floor tiling, feature wall panelling, decoration, bespoke counters, seating installations, and the fit-out of the commercial kitchen and service areas.

Additional elements included the installation of branded signage, feature lighting, and all furniture and fixtures, with works carefully coordinated to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery programme within a busy and high-profile retail location.

This refit delivered a vibrant, modern environment that reflects Chaiiwala’s unique identity, while providing a high-quality customer experience in one of London’s most prestigious retail districts.
